Pocket Review – New Zealand Govt Crowded Places Strategy

The NZ Police and Government have a collection of resources for owners and operators of crowded places to deal with the risk of organised or terrorist attack.

This pocket review is an outline of what you can find on the NZ Police site. This is an important reminder for risk managers to use local sources, as the strategy and guidelines differ in many ways from other international references you may find online.

In these four-page “pocket reviews”, I aim to distill some of the interesting take-home messages and provide some general critique. Think of it as a starter-for-ten on where the seams of golden content may be, before you start your own digging into these large reports!
